Eureka Miniatures Zombies

Zombies from Eureka miniatures. Some of the best zombies out there- really decomposed and grisly. Local Australian company that has so much good stuff. Motivated by laziness and the desire to bash all these zombies out as quickly as possible I’ve been experimenting with using basically just citadel washes and glazes over preshading. The preshading is probably the most time consuming bit- prime beige, then wash with army painter strong tone, then highlight up to white in 3 layers. Then I pretty much just slap on washes and try to blend the transparent layers to create a bruised, rotten look. Exposed muscle and guts are given a crimson wash and splashed with citadel blood, teeth and bone picked out in white. This slapdash impressionistic method seems to work well for fleshy things like zombies.
