Ral Partha Cloud Giant

Ral Partha Cloud Giant. The characterful face and anatomy of this model are brilliant- like something out of an Arthur Rackham painting or even Jim Henson. The way Tom Meier has sculpted a forced perspective on this giant- to appear like it is towering over other miniatures- is sheer genius, and not something you see other sculptors experimenting with, but here it is very effective. There are many tiny details that are so small I couldn’t even capture, such as acorns and leaves in his beard, squirrels running through his hair, cats chasing birds, and a birds nest with tiny eggs in his eyebrow!
