Zoat Terror Squad











A Zoat Terror Squad ready to pacify all those who refuse to pay tribute to their Eldar Pirate masters. The Zoats are uneasy allies of the Eldar Pirates- but at least being their mercenaries is better than being a Tyranid mind-slave. They are armed to the teeth with bio-technological weaponry. One is a fantasy Zoat that had a broken weapon which I replaced with an inscrutable bronze cylindrical artifact. I painted these quite quickly using almost exclusively washes and glazes, which I think helped emphasise their biological nature. I do quite like the various early 40k aliens done by Nick Bibby, it is too bad he didn’t do more. They very much remind me of a Larry Niven or Wayne Barlowe style of “hard sci fi” alien.
